In the last weekend of November, will you help create the biggest climate march the world has ever seen? As global leaders meet in Paris… Join us as we march together for a better, safer and fairer future for all.
Saturday 28 November 2015, 4pm.
Meet at the Rockpool on the Strand and March to the Burke Street Headland (near Strand Park and behind the Picnic Bay SLSC).
A community event coordinated by North Queensland Conservation Council.
Please support this event by sharing, inviting and encouraging friends, family, colleagues and your community to get involved.
You can find the ‘Townsville Climate March’ Facebook event here.
You can download the ‘Townsville Climate March’ poster here: A4_Poster. It can be printed at A4 or A3. Stick it on your car window, pop it up it in your workplace, shopfront or on a community noticeboard.
You can RSVP at the NQCC Events page here (scroll right to the bottom).
We encourage our community to get involved and embrace this opportunity to tell our local leaders and the world that Townsville wants strong action to address climate change.
